For 18 years, owner and founder of Drop Dead Gorgeous RI, Loran Bedford, has offered superior makeup artistry, customer service and sanitary practices while maintaining a professional, welcoming and fun experience. Having a BA in Theater Performance with a concentration in Theatrical Makeup, as well as cosmetics retail experience as Retail Manager for MAC Cosmetics for 15+ years, all while offering freelance event and bridal makeup bookings since 2005, it's no wonder Drop Dead Gorgeous RI has seen a 95% increase in Bridal bookings at the start of it's second year in business.
In 2019, after the birth of her first child, Loran and her husband knew it was time to make the jump from retail cosmetics and minimal freelance jobs on the side, to starting and owning her own, fulltime Makeup/Beauty Business, and so, Drop Dead Gorgeous RI was born!
Not interested in giving a cookie-cutter experience, the now mother of 2, Loran, is expanding her bridal makeup and hair team to meet the demands of an ever-increasing bridal business where she is able to cultivate a team of artists that deliver excellence, far surpassing any client's needs and expectations with makeup looks specifically tailored to their client's style, vibe and features, just as she demands of herself. She is able to spend more time with her family and still love her career; making the rules, being creative without restraint, empowering men and women and ensuring all her clients look and feel DROP DEAD GORGEOUS !
